Dear Supporters and Friends,

We’re deep into the dog days of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Many places swelter in our newly habitual great heat (Tokyo among them).

I hope you are staying cool (if this applies), staying dry (if English summers have returned to normal), and warm (if reading in the Southern Hemisphere).

With the summer lethargy falling oppressively upon us, this is a short post. I thought I’d give you something teasing but not taxing: a couple of extra snippets from Neruda’s Libro de las preguntas, which many of you seem to have enjoyed last week.
